blue like jazz

Have you ever read that book? Donald Miller is the author. I recommend it. That's what came to mind when I looked at this photo. Yesterday afternoon we had a "meeting" at a local coffee shop. First of all, I'd kind of a breakdown per say at lunch. God is performing massive surgery on my heart right now. Don't really know how else to explain it and I'm kind of glad I can't really explain it cause it would kind of take away from the wonder and grace of it all. Most of the office has left to go to Mt Isa for IWT and there are only a few of us left. We decided to have a meeting away from the office. Probably one of the most refreshing chats I've had in a while.

Let me take a few steps back...someone bought my coffee and brownie and that always makes for nice experience. And let me tell you the brownie was amazing. It was like this block of heaven. They even warmed it up and added a scoop of white chocolate ice cream. I mean who does that! It was so comforting to eat. Add that to the fact that I was wearing my favorite sweatshirt and comfort was my middle name. All I needed was a hug from my Mom to complete the perfection.

So we talked about so many things and I was just affirmed in my spirit about a few things I've been wondering about. It was like drinking a tall glass of ice cold water on a nice hot day. REFRESHING!

I was chasing the Ladah logo, as it would appear on the wall as a shadow only when cars were driving by reflecting light. You can check out my Flickr site for photos of that.

thought provoking quote of the day

Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frusturating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. - Martin Luther King

My thoughts on this one later...

crisp morning

you know those mornings that you could almost take a bit out of cause they are so crisp...yup, it's one of those!  my sweatshirt was a nice companion on the way to the office.  i'm going home in a little over a week.  i'm still in a stage of shock...it feels a bit surreal...but it'll be reality soon enough.

hello...

you are probably wondering if I still post to this thing...well, here's proof...I actually do post...but my computer is going to die in a few minutes and I can't think of anything brilliant to type so I'm going to go now.

Did you know that Chuck Norris played Russian Roulet with a fully loaded gun and won?

That's Chuck Norris for you!
